The Barcelo Royal Beach is ideally located in the very centre of Sunny Beach, which is the most renowned resort in Bulgaria. Sunny Beach features a wide semi-circular bay facing east, with a beach over 8km long with 30-60 meter wide fine golden sand and a clean and gently sloping sea.

Sporting and leisure activities include 3 outdoor pools, whirlpools, Spa, 1 indoor pool, a children's pool, children's playing area and a mini club. Sport facilities at the hotel include boccia, water gym, water polo, water volleyball and mini club with games, painting, carnival, music games and creative activities. There is also animation programme for both adults and kids during the day.

Dining

The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:30-11:00), lunch (13:00-15:00) and dinner (19:00-22:00), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. Also at the disposal of the AI guests are the A la Carte restaurants for dinner with prior reservation. Snacks such as salads, burgers, pizza, pasta and ice cream are available at the pool bar when the main restaurant is closed. Tea and coffee time with pastries is from 15:00-17:00 at the pool bar. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like soft drinks, tea, coffee, eater and spirits are served from 10:00-24:00 at the lobby bar and the pool bar according to each outlet's opening hours and menus.
